03About

The person you’ll actually work with.

Design sense. Engineering discipline.

I help brands and product teams ship websites that look expensive, load fast, and stay easy to run.

Work with me

Visual craft is part of the engineering, not a layer on top.

I’m Mateja, a full-stack developer who takes ideas through design and code until the interface feels obvious to use and solid under the hood.

I’ve worked on marketing sites, product dashboards, and hybrid no-code/custom stacks. Briefs stay clear. Feedback loops stay tight. You always know where the project stands.

I work remote, CET hours, with a small number of projects at a time. If the fit is wrong I will say so early, including when a template or an in-house pass is the smarter spend.

Clear async communication, worldwide.

How I decide

The goal comes first

I don’t start in Figma or in a repo. I start with what the page has to do: book a car, explain a product, get a demo, or help a team decide. Layout and stack follow that, not the other way around.

One owner, fewer handoffs

Design and engineering stay in the same head. You are not translating between a designer and a developer. Feedback stays specific, and the thing we ship still matches the thing we agreed on.

Built to be edited

A site that looks expensive and then needs me for every copy change is a bad site. CMS structure, components, and performance are part of the brief, not a polish pass at the end.

Independent full-stack

End-to-end sites and product interfaces for startups and local brands. Discovery, design, build, and the first weeks after launch sit with me.

Front-end and Webflow

Marketing sites, CMS collections, and design-system foundations. Fast launches with an editor the client could actually use.

Freelance jobs, personal products, and the long stretch of making things until taste and engineering started to agree.

Working together

Before we start

A short call or a written brief. I come back with a timeline, a shape of the build (Webflow, Next.js, or both), and a fixed quote. No work starts until that is clear.

During the build

You get a private preview. We review in small loops, not a big reveal. Scope changes get written down so the original quote stays honest.

After launch

The first 14 days of tweaks are included, as long as they are not a redesign. After that, retainers or scoped updates. You should not feel abandoned on day two.
